1 - Open the Mail program.

5 - Click the plus sign, another window opens.
2 - In the menu bar, click on “Mail”.
4 - Select “Accounts”.

3 - select “Preferences.”
Caution: If you are creating a new email account because you are changing Service Providers, be aware that you should not delete the old email account until you have moved the mail to your new account, or moved important mail out of your inbox, and sent box to folders (mailboxes) as these may not be accessible after you delete the Mail Account. (If you have already deleted the old account and lost important email. You could try following these steps to put the Mail Account back. If done soon enough the emails may still show up again.

7 - Enter your email address. If you put in a valid email address, the window will change.
6 - Your name shows here. If you want to use a different one, just delete what’s in the box, and type in another.
10 - Click “Create“.
9 - There will be a check-mark in the box to automatically set up the account.
8 - Enter your Password.
11 - This last window shows what you have put in the various fields. Click “Create” and you are done.
