Change the Name of a
Drive or Folder.
You can easily change the name of a drive or folder or any other icon showing on the desktop or in a window on the desktop.
1 - Locate the icon for the drive or folder you want to rename, and click once on it.
2 - Notice there is a rectangle around the drive indicating that you have selected it.
3 - Now press the “enter” or “return” key on your keyboard.
4 - Notice the name is now highlighted in light blue. That means it is ready to change.
5 - Type the new name, press the “enter” key, and you are done.
