Safari Tips - Setting up a Home Page
Do you normally use a Home Page? You can set Safari’s Preferences so that a Home Page opens when you start up Safari.
4 - Click on the tab beside New windows open with: and choose Home Page.
5 - Note, if the Home Page tab is empty, make sure the webpage you are on is the one you want as home page.
1- Now that you are seeing the page that you want to use, click on Safari in the Menu Bar.
2 - Select Preferences.
1 - The first thing you need to do, is go the the page you want to use as a home page. I’m not starting these directions with telling you to open your browser, because if it was not open, you would not be reading this webpage. Ok, just in case you are reading it on a friend’s computer, click the icon on the dock to open Safari.
3 - Select General in the Toolbar.
6 - Then click on Set to Current Page.
7 - Click the red button to close the window.
